CIAP is an organisation of Peruvian artisans dedicated to production and export of handicrafts.  CIAP is an active member of fair trade movement in Peru. Importantly, it carries out multiple activities to improve the working conditions of the craftsmen and women, their families and their communities.

CIAP is a member of IFAT (International Federation of Alternative Trade).
Through preservation of its arts, CIAP preserves the cultutal identity and history of the people of the Andes and the Amazon regions.  The Fair Trade umbreall extends to support the development of the communites where the producers are located.
