Our March 08 Kiva loan went to Fallou Niang from Senegal.  He requested a loan to help with the customs, handling and transport costs of clearing his inventory of tyres from the port of Dakar.  We fully empathised with the cost of customs so we very eager to give this recipient a hand up.

It has now been 5 months since Generation Wonder began its commitment of a monthly loan to entrepreneurs in need of a hand up not a hand out, via the wonderful work of Kiva.  Of the five loans given between October 07 and February 08, four recipients have started making repayments, just as agreed.  Now THAT is working with integrity!
