Do you have a Loyalty Program?
Yes!
Each time you complete an order with Generation Wonder you accrue loyalty points, called WonderPoints.
$1 spent is 1 point earned.
Spend $20, earn 20 Wonder Points, spend $50, earn 50 Wonder Points, and so on
When redeeming points, 20 points redeemed earns you $0.20 discount, 50 points redeemed is $0.50 discount, 100 points redeemed is $1.00 discount, and so on.
WonderPoints will be accrued automatically, and discounts when you choose to redeem them, are all done automatically at the checkout.
You will be able to redeem your WonderPoints after your first order ie at 2nd or subsequent orders.
WonderPoints cannot be transferred to another customer.
WonderPoints are not redeemable for cash.
WonderPoints are not accumulated when purchasing gift vouchers alone or with other items, so we suggest you don't combine your gift voucher purchase with other items, to make sure you accumulate points for those items that are not gift vouchers.
WonderPoints cannot be redeemed to purchase gift vouchers.
WonderPoints are valid for the life of the Generation Wonder WonderPoints Loyalty Program.
If the loyalty program is ceasing,  subscribers to our on-line newsletter will be notified one month in advance of the cessation date.
WonderPoints are our token of appreciation for your custom.

How much is postage?
Postage is determined by weight and size of the package.  We include the weight on the product pages.  This is the packaged weight (after it is wrapped to ensure it reaches you in good order).  Sometimes the weight is artificially included because while it may be light, it is large and will automatically go into a box, and will therefore require higher postage rates.  The website will automaticllay show you what postage options are available for your package at the checkout, but you can estimate it as you are going along by understanding the simple chart below.

We prefer to use a courier, Couriers Please.  They require a street address, not a PO Box.  They require a signature on delivery.  We can send your parcels to your work address or neighbour so someone can sign for it. You can also allow the courier to leave the parcel at your premises eg on front doorstep, if no-one will be home.  Include these instructions in the Special Instructions Box when ordering, and we will attach a sticker with your instructions to your parcel.  If you require your parcel  be delivered to a PO Box, we will need to send it via Australia Post.  

If you require delivery to the Northern Territory, we will only use an Australia Post Service, as the costs are really very high when usnig the Courier.

If no-one is home to accept delivery and to sign for your parcel

Couriers Please will leave a note and try and re-deliver at another time to the same address.  They will not deliver to another address.  If no-one is home during business hours, Mon- Fri, when placing your order either:
 -  nominate a work address or family/friend's address where the parcel can be received and signed for OR
 -  in the Special Instructions Box , at the checkout, give us your instructions where the parcel may be left eg under chairs on front verandah.
 
Postage outside Australia:
Generation Wonder is based in Sydney, Australia. We will happily ship purchases overseas using Australia Post Air Mail. Estimated time of delivery is within two weeks from your order being processed.

All orders being shipped to an international address will not be charged compulsory Australian GST on goods. Prices listed are inclusive of GST so you will receive a 9% discount off the listed price.

When we send you an email confirming your order we will advise of postage charges. International postage charges will be applied to your order based on the charges listed in the link supplied (Australia Post International Charges, see page 2, parcels up to 20kg).

I'm worried about using my credit card over the internet.  Is your site secure?

Yes, our site is secure.  Your payment is not done as soon as you press 'Place Your Order'.  It is processed only once all discounts and codes have been included and the order is ready for shipping.  Your credit card details are also inputted into the secure gateway of our merchant facility.  Once processed by the bank, the records show your credit card details as an encrypted code, so we see no record of the number from the bank.  If a refund is required, we will need to get back to you to confirm the number.  If ordering by phone  we will ask you to be patient so we can process your card directly with the bank so we do not have to write down or record your credit card number in our office.

Free Gift Wrap?
From November 13th 2009 to December 25th 2009 we will be unable to provide our usual complimentary gift wrap service - the volumes are just too high.  We have however, found the most gorgeous Christmas wrapping paper and our gift to you will be a 500mm x 700mm piece of Christmas wrap along with a matching gift card.  You'll love it, trust us!

How are items displayed for sale?
Our items are displayed by item, and if there are variations (size and/or colour) there are drop down boxes on the product page from which to make your selections.
 
The 'interested?' button means the item is out of stock...for now.  If you click here you can read the details of this product, then at the bottom of the page, click on 'enquire about this item'.  Leave your details and inquiry and we can be in touch with you.  There's absolutely no obligation to buy it further down the track; it just gives you the chance to ask a question about it, and we may well have it coming soon, (or sitting here waiting to be unpacked!) or we could have an alternative product that you may prefer. 
 
The 'info' button, when clicked, directs you to a full page of details.  This item is in stock.
The 'add to cart' button is there if the item is in stock.  You can put something directly in the shopping cart, without going to the detailed page. This is quick and easy for those customers who know exactly what they want!
 
  

How do I place an order?
Firstly, we welcome the opportunity to speak with you on the phone if you have any questions or wish to place an order. Ph: (61 ) 2 8213 9058.

When shopping on-line, simply  click the 'add to cart' button to put an item in your shopping cart.
You can alter the quantities you require by filling in the blank box and pressing 'change' for an automatic update.  
You can press 'remove' and the item is removed, just as if you were to return it to the shelf! 
You can return to the shop by pressing 'continue shopping' or simply using the keys on the left hand side of the page.
As you continue shopping, your shopping cart is displayed in the top right hand corner of every page, so you can keep track of everything.
 
Press 'complete order'  and choose your postage options. 
Complete the billing and delivery information.  These pages are secure, which means any credit card details can only be accessed by us once we log on to our secure server.
Register with us and these details will be remembered next time you pop by.
 
 
 
How can I be sure you received my order?
You will receive an automated message that your order has been received.  If you do not, please call us on (61 2) 8213 9058.

How do I pay for my order?
You can supply your credit card details to us securely on-line during the order process, or over the phone. You can also provide a direct deposit into our bank account - once we receive your order we will send an email with those details.
We accept Visa and Mastercard.
Your order will be fulfilled by us once we have been able to verify your payment has been accepted by our bank. For credit cards this is immediate,  for EFT this may take up to 2 days.
 

Redeeming a Gift Certificate or Discount Code
Proceed through the normal ordering process and at the checkout there are boxes to input your gift certificate details.  The system still requires the details of your credit card in order to proceed,  but your card will not be processed if there is no excess to be paid.  The total costs will still be displayed, but we will be processing this manually, so your discounts will be processed manually also.  GIFT CERTIFICATES CAN ONLY BE PROCESSED ONCE SO PLEASE USE ALL OF THE VALUE WHEN USING IT, OR THE REMAINDER WILL BE UNREEDEEMABLE.  The gift certificates are valid for the life of Generation Wonder.

Are prices inclusive of GST (Goods and Services Tax)?
Yes. All prices on the display pages include 10% Australian GST. Your tax invoice will be emailed to you.
If you are ordering from overseas, ie outside Australia, we will deduct the GST from your total, so you will receive a 9% discount on the listed price.


How can I contact you?
The easiest way to communicate with us, for customer service, trade inquiries, feedback etc is via the feedback form on the website in the Contact Us section.

When will I receive my order?
Express processing  and delivery is standard.  Processing and delivery of Australian orders should occur within three working days of your order, but is generally faster if you live in a metropolitan region. For example, Sydney metro orders received before 10am will generally be delivered that same afternoon (when using the Courier Service).  Delivery of international orders can be advised at the time the order is placed.
 
What if stock is not available?
It is usual practice that if the item is displayed on the website, we have it in stock, unless it states ‘this item is currently out of stock’ on the display page. We encourage you to make an inquiry as it may well be arriving soon, or is sitting here waiting patiently to be unpacked!
If the item is in stock, yet you are unable to add your quantity required to your shopping cart, it is probably that you require more than we have available.  Again, best to ring and get us to check if there isn't more hiding in a box somewhere!
Also, we may be able to suggest an alternative item that would suit the occasion and the little citizen of the world in question.

At Generation Wonder, we are committed to you receiving top quality products in excellent condition, with the highest standards of service. If you are not happy with the information, product or service you received, please let us know via the feedback form on the website, or give us a call. We view all feedback received as an opportunity to improve.
If you are a satisfied customer, we are just as eager to hear from you. Use the same feedback form to drop us a line, or write a testimonial for our website.
We may at some stage after your order be in contact to ask about your experience with us. This will be for our continued improvement purposes and you will have the choice whether or not to respond.

Exchange/refund policy
We sincerely hope you are happy with your products and the service and information you received. However, if you are not, we recommend that the following occur:

Firstly, please give us a call to discuss. Ph: 61 2 8213 9058.

For goods sold within Australia, where goods have been received faulty, damaged, not as described, or you did not receive the products you ordered, we will exchange the goods, or refund you the cost of the goods including the postage costs for the trip back to us. If no error on our part has been made, but you have changed your mind, need a different size, or request a refund, we will exchange or refund the goods, but you will still bear all postage costs.
For goods sold outside of Australia, please call us or contact us via the feedback form first to discuss the return of goods.

We will gladly exchange or refund under the following conditions:
- they are returned within 14 days, unused, unwashed, and in original packaging, labels intact.
- Copy of tax invoice is attached or emailed back to us.

We will credit your return using your same method of payment.

Currency and Buying from Outside Australia
All currency is shown in Australian dollars. If purchasing from outside of Australia, your credit card will show the exchange rate on the day of transaction. If purchasing from outside Australia, your financial institution will charge a fee for the currency conversion, usually a percentage of the converted purchase price.  It is up to the customer to make these enquiries and understand the costs of converting our AUD price to your local currency.

Both Netscape Navigator and Internet Explorer support SSL, and many Web sites use the protocol to protect confidential user information, such as credit card numbers, from being intercepted or read by anyone other than the intended recipient.
